Lakewood’s VBS is 9 am to noon, Wednesday, July 16th through Friday, July 18th. Free registration has begun in the foyer. Your support is needed! Your prayers are needed! Contacts: Amy Cox, Tasha Bedford, Kerrie Ducey, children@lakewoodcc.net
Needed: Clean plastic jugs with handles and caps on like gallon milk or juice jugs or bleach bottles. Bring to bin in the foyer.
LAKEWOOD MEMBERS are invited to a church-wide picnic, Saturday, July 12th at Dedisse Park, a mountain park and shelter near Evergreen. Bring your own basket lunch, chairs and blankets. Hiking and bike riding is convenient and even fishing, if you go down to Evergreen Lake. Drinks for lunch time are provided. The shelter is available from 10 am to 5 pm, but it is come and go as you like. We will gather at 12:45 for a prayer before lunch. Use the map enclosed here in the bulletin or print it from the Heart to Heart E-letter. Maps will be available at the Information Booth next week, too.
PRAISE TEAM UPDATE
There will be no Praise Team practice this week. The next practice is scheduled for Wednesday, July 23rd at 6:30 pm here at Lakewood.
CALL TO WORSHIP: Beginning today, on Sunday mornings you will see and hear the Praise Team up on the stage helping us all begin our time of congregational worship.
