Who We Are
RMCM exists to provide a Christ-centered community for college students, where belonging comes before belief, relationships are developed through authenticity, & students learn how to see and become active in the present reality of the Kingdom of God.
What We're About
Service - We recognize that the Kingdom of God on earth is both beautiful & messy. Because of this, we challenge our students to bring beauty into the messy places of our cities & campuses through monthly service opportunities with local homeless & hiv care ministries.
Faith Growth - We believe that Intimacy with God is vital to developing a deeper faith. And, we remind our students that our own lives and hearts our full of that same beauty & mess. Therefore, through RMCM, we provide our students with tools for growing closer to God and exposing the messy places that consume our hearts, while bringing to the surface the beauty & potential of our lives. We know that, as children of God, we have a greater impact on the Kingdom if we are in constant pursuit of God and His will.
Community - We meet weekly for Beautiful Mess Groups, both on campus and in student apartments, which consist of a meal together, bible study, community, and worship. It is through these Beautiful Mess Groups that we are all challenged to see and become active in the present reality of the Kingdom.
Outreach - We do outreach through retreats, weekly recreation & fun, occasionally free campus meals, one-on-one bible studies, & discussion groups, all while teaching our students not to be afraid to walk in relationship with others who do not yet know Jesus.
Ministry Training - We passionately provide both students and staff the necessary tools to be the most effect campus servants possible, while helping them identify their gifts & recognize their potential, which will be valuable for a lifetime of growth & service in Christ.
Campus Ministry Planting - Currently, we are ministering on the campuses of Colorado School of Mines & Red Rocks Community College. Our vision and desire is to continue participating in God’s ministry on these campuses, while attentively listening to God for opportunities to minister on other Colorado campuses in the near future.
Prayer - We recognize that the world around us is clouded with busy schedules and constant noise. Therefore, we try not to do anything in our ministry without first resting in prayer. Ultimately, we challenge our students to develop a life that is Christ-centered, daily setting aside time for prayer and pursuit of God.
