Faith in God has always been much more than a feeling or a thought. Faith compels us into action. Faith changes things around us. Not that the believer has any power of their own, but they are sent into the world as active agents and partners with God; doing, loving, serving and changing things so the mission of Jesus can be accomplished. As James writes, “Do you believe in God…then prove it!”
If you are new to Lakewood or an interested visitor, you are encouraged to attend our Discovering Lakewood class. Children’s classes are held at the same time.
