About Us

The PULSE ministry exists to
Pursue teens, Unite them with other believers so they can Learn, Serve and Exalt God.

1. Pursue

Sunday Night “Hang Outs” fulfill our purpose of Evangelism These are various fun events that are planned for Sunday night of each week. The teens are encouraged to invite their non-Christian friends to these events. Hang Outs are a chance for non-Christian teens to be part of a fun, “non-threatening” event with our youth group that does not have a “Churchy” feel to it. Hang Outs are our entry point for new teens and a great fellowship time for all.

2. Unity

Wednesday Night Life Groups fulfill our purpose of Fellowship- (most every Wed. nights from 6 to 9) Life groups provide a time and place where teens can share their lives, be prayed for in a small group setting, learn accountability, community and be connected to another Christian adult volunteer. This is where teens learn the importance of being united with the body of Christ. (Small groups with our adult leaders will be starting up in Fall of 2010).

3. Learn

Sunday morning class fulfills our purpose of Discipleship along with:

Summer Camps/Encounter and Camp Champion / Area Wide devotionals / High School Winter Peak / Jr. High March Middle School Madness / Fall Retreat / Deep Dialogue Dinners /  etc…

4. Serve

Our Soft Revolutions (one square mile service projects)  fulfills our purpose of Serving others. Our goal is to have one service project a month (typically on a Sun. after church) in which the teens are given an opportunity to go out and serve others. Other programs that are set up to give teens a chance to serve are:

Mexico Mission Trip & Road Rules

5. Exalt

Our Wed. night worship time is when we fulfill our purpose of praise.  Every Wed. night we have 30 minutes of praise time where we enjoys some a-cappella music along with some instrumental worship lead by our teens.
